C-USA In The Community

Conference USA remains committed to excellence in athletics, academics and community involvement. Throughout the seasons, C-USA schools participate in various activities that reflect a strong commitment to their communities. One example is Conference USA's Reach for the Stars Program, where student-athletes may visit a children's hospital or visit a local elementary school to talk to the students about staying in school and the benefits of getting a college education.

Since the 2008-09 season, 36 student-athletes in Conference USA were recognized each year with the Spirit of Service Awards granted in the fall, winter and spring. The student-athletes not only excel on the playing fields and in the classroom, but are also committed to finding ways to impact and give back to their communities.
